With ThunderDomes Virtual Golf Simulator you and your guests can see who can hit the longest drive and award prizes for the top 3 men and top 3 women. Learn More Here.
The Golf Driving Simulator has an aluminum frame we build on-site and then put a green canopy over the top with black netting on the sides. We leave it on longest drive mode because of how many people use it. Sometimes we'll do a competition and keep track of the longest drives for man and woman and the client will give away prizes at the end of the day. It uses small soft yellow balls that are hit onto the screen. No one gets hurt and the balls and tee's stay inside the boundaries of the game. We use real clubs that are very nice. The ball is struck over a small sensor pad with 90 infrared lasers in it that read the clubs head as it is swung across the sensor pad. After the player strikes the ball the distance is recorded on the screen along with some other technical information. This is an expensive unit and is similar to what is used in Golf Pro shops for measuring custom clubs for players. The dimensions are 10' tall x 15' wide x 20' deep. It's a lot of fun and always draws a crowd. We don't recommend using a golf course because it takes forever for 4 people to play. It's just like playing a real course but without the cart. We attend to it during the show hours and instruct the players on how to use it. We can keep track of players distances if you like and prizes can be awarded to the top 3 men and top 3 women or longest overall drive. We'll handle the fun.
We have 2 Putting Simulators. The Putting Sim has 3 course choices. The front 9, back 9, or all 18 holes. You never have to reach down to get the ball. There is an infrared beam that projects across the front of it and that way it knows the ball has been struck. Up to 4 players at one time can play. The game has a speaker which calls out the score and applauds holes in one. It also has an led score counter on it that keeps track of every ones score.
EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Arcade game. Up to 4 players can play on the best golf courses in the world. I think there is about 14 to choose from. Then you select a player. Tiger Woods is not one of them. I don’t know why. I suppose his license agreement would be too costly. Once you’ve selected the course then you can select the front 9, back 9, or all 18 holes. The game has a track ball and the player rolls the track ball to strike the ball and that’s how the game plays. The game will automatically select the proper club for the allotted distance, however the player has the option of selecting a different club if they like.
Chipping Challenge. This games uses a back drop made of Velcro and you simply hit a Velcro ball from a green pas we position if front of the back drop. The player tries to hit the ball onto the green to score the most points. There is a point system screen printed on the back drop and the players can keep score this way. The game uses real clubs to strike the Velcro ball.
